| | As with any youth organization, we expect the adults to adhere to the standards that we expect the youth to abide by. While people are naturally entitled to their personal opinions, we ask that parents refrain from criticizing any player, parent, other clubs, teammates or officials out loud during practice or games. When a player has a problem or conflict with the team, coach, player or program, parents have the responsibility of teaching their daughters the necessary steps to remedy the situation. The following steps should be taken if a player has a grievance: Step one: the player should discuss the problem with her coach to arrive at a solution. Ideally, the situation will be resolved at this level. If not: Step two: The parent should call the coach and set a meeting with the parent(s), coach and player to discuss the situation and work to a solution. Step Three: If the above fails, the Board President should be advised of the situation, and the grievance procedures put into effect. On behalf of the Board of the Bellevue Girls Select Basketball Club, we look forward to seeing you at the hoops or in the stands next year!
